Western Mixers Produce & Nuts initiated this recall after routine testing by the source supplier of the yogurt coating determined that the finished products contained salmonella bacteria.

The company has ceased the production and distribution of the product as FDA and the company continue their investigation as to what caused the problem, according to the FDA.

If you purchased any yogurt-covered pretzels that are affected by this recall, you should not eat them, and either discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.
