CPSC recalled about 2,200 Workbless electric pressure washers, models WB0301 and WB0302, on August 20, 2026. The washers lack an integral ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and an adequate-length power cord.
CPSC says this poses serious risks of injury or death from shock and electrocution. No injuries have been reported. No lawsuit, class action or MDL has been filed over the washers.
Health Canada announced the joint recall as RA-82498, covering about 657 units sold in Canada from September 2025 to July 2026. Owners should stop using the washers right away and ask for a full refund under CPSC recall 26-715.

August 27, 2026: CPSC Recalls YERYORK Pressure Washers
CPSC announced recall 26-725 of about 300 YERYORK electric pressure washers, model YE-006. Amazon.com sold them from March 2025 through June 2026 for about $120. The recall covers the same GFCI and power cord hazard [1].
The remedy is a refund, and no incidents were reported. The importer is Lanzhou Xinshi Mingchen Information Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as YERYORK. It is a separate action from the Workbless recall.
August 20, 2026: CPSC and Health Canada Announce the Workbless Recall
CPSC announced recall 26-715 of about 2,200 Workbless pressure washers sold in the United States. Health Canada announced the joint recall as RA-82498. It covers about 657 units in Canada [2, 3].
CPSC told owners to stop using the washers and contact the company for a full refund. Owners are asked to destroy the washer by cutting the unplugged power cord in half and emailing a photo to service@workbless.net.
April 30, 2026: CPSC Recalls DGIVOVO US Pressure Washers
CPSC announced recall 26-452 of 50 DGIVOVO US electric pressure washers, model C4012PLUS-1500C. Amazon.com sold them from October 2025 through January 2026 for about $90. The washers lack an integral GFCI [4].
The remedy is a replacement. CPSC reports no incidents. The retailer is Ningbopingyao E-Commerce Ltd., doing business as DGIVOVO US. It does not involve the Workbless recall.
April 2, 2026: CPSC Warns About SEN-QII Pressure Washers
CPSC issued product safety warning 26-371 on SEN-QII pressure washers, which lack a GFCI. The washers were sold on Amazon.com for between $79 and $100 [5].
CPSC states that SEN-QII of China refused to agree to an acceptable recall. The Workbless recall is a different action on a different brand.
Who May Be Affected?
You may be affected if you own a Workbless electric pressure washer, model WB0301 or WB0302. The model number is printed on a label on the back of the unit, according to the Workbless recall page [6].
The recalled models are both green and black and came with four quick connect nozzles and a foam cannon:
- WB0301 is about 27.24 inches high, 10.83 wide and 8.39 deep.
- WB0302 is about 29.57 inches high, 14.69 wide and 10.94 deep.
Amazon.com, BestBuy, Kohls, Lowe’s, Overstock, Target and Walmart are the sellers CPSC names. They sold the washers from April 2025 through July 2026 for between $97 and $140.
A recall alone cannot settle eligibility for a legal claim, which depends on your own circumstances and an individual legal review.
Reported Injuries or Damages
CPSC lists incidents and injuries as “None reported.” As of August 14, 2026, Health Canada says the company had received no reports of incident or injury in Canada or in the United States.
The shock and electrocution hazard is the basis for the recall. Both agencies describe how the washers are built, and neither describes a harmed owner. These are regulator findings, not complaint allegations or medical findings.
Health Canada adds a point about the cord. The cord is too short, which “may encourage the use of an extension cord, posing a risk of an electric shock hazard.”
Recall and Regulatory Background
The CPSC and Health Canada recalls cover the same two Workbless models. Workbless conducted the recall voluntarily in cooperation with CPSC, according to its recall page. CPSC has also acted on pressure washers from SEN-QII, DGIVOVO US and YERYORK.
On August 27, 2026, it also announced a recall of about 128 Steelite electric pressure washers, model AZ6041VC, for the same missing GFCI hazard [7].
A recall does not by itself show that anyone is liable. Liability would depend on the facts of an individual case.
Evidence to Preserve
The refund requires you to destroy the washer, so record these items before you cut the cord:
- A photo of the model label on the unit
- A photo of the package showing the model
- A photo of the cut power cord
- Your order number, invoice or order screenshot
- The retailer name and the purchase date
- Emails with Workbless or the seller about the refund
- Medical records, if a shock or injury occurs
Keep copies in one place, such as a folder on your phone. Do not skip the refund steps to save the unit.
Filing Deadlines
Deadlines for a legal claim come from state law. They vary with where you live and when an injury and its cause were discovered.
Missing a deadline can end a claim, however strong the facts. If you are hurt, check with a lawyer promptly. The CPSC and company notices state no deadline for the refund.
