Which QVC Oven Gloves are Being Recalled?

This recall affects Temp-tations Oven Gloves imported and sold by QVC in single pairs, sets of 2 and in sets with drying mats or trivets, according to a recall notice by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1.].

“The oven gloves can fail to provide sufficient protection from heat, posing a burn hazard to consumers,” CPSC said. “QVC has received 162 reports of insufficient heat protection including 92 reports of minor burns.”

Affected oven gloves were sold in blue, yellow, red, floral and summer shell prints under the following model numbers: K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388 and K309516.

The words “Temp-tations by Tara” are printed on a label stitched to the inside of the gloves.

The recalled oven gloves were sold on QVC.com, QVC televised shows and QVC digital shopping platforms between Aug. 2018 and Aug. 2024, and were bundled in sets with other kitchen items for between about $14 and $26 per set.

If you purchased any oven gloves that are affected by this recall, you should not use them, and contact QVC for instructions on how to receive a full refund.

This recall began on December 5, 2024.

The CPSC Recall Number for this item is 25-059.
