What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Vantage-modified Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles from model years 2016-2019, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The fuel pump gasket on affected Dodge Caravans may deteriorate, allowing fuel to leak, NHTSA said. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Vantage is notifying owners, and will provide parts and reimbursement for repair facilities to replace the fuel tank gasket.
This recall began on May 19, 2020.
