Crayan mattresses face a recall over a deadly fire hazard. CPSC says they fail federal open flame flammability rules. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced recall 25-344 on June 18, 2025.
About 100,000 mattresses sold by the retailer Foshanshi Liyue Jiaju Youxian Gongsi, doing business as Crayan Inc., are covered. On October 9, 2025, CPSC warned that the firm has been uncooperative and has not provided the agreed remedy.
CPSC urges owners to stop using the mattresses immediately and dispose of them. No Crayan mattress lawsuit, class action or MDL has been filed.

October 9, 2025: CPSC Warns the Firm Is Uncooperative
CPSC issued warning 26-018 on October 9, 2025 [1]. It says the retailer has been uncooperative in the implementation of the June 18, 2025 recall. The retailer also failed to provide the agreed upon remedy to consumers.
June 18, 2025: CPSC Announces Recall 25-344
CPSC’s recall notice covers about 100,000 Crayan mattresses sold on Amazon.com [2]. CPSC says they violate the federal mattress standard.
The remedy listed in the notice is to dispose of the mattresses. The notice does not offer a refund or a replacement.
May 22, 2025: CPSC Issues an Earlier Warning
CPSC issued warning 25-295 on May 22, 2025 [3]. It covered 12-inch SoFree, 12-inch Kudsq and 10-inch Crayan mattresses sold on Amazon.com.
The importer, Comfort SCM Co. of Denver, Colorado, had received a Notice of Violation. It had not agreed to a recall or a remedy.
Which Crayan Mattress Are Affected?
The recall covers Crayan mattresses in two thicknesses, each sold in four sizes:
- 10-inch Crayan mattress in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes
- 12-inch Crayan mattress in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes
- Single-sided mattresses with a white knit quilted top
- The brand name “Crayan” printed on the gray side panel
The notice states no model, lot or UPC numbers. The fiber content, size and “WG/P Foundation” appear on a white label sewn onto the mattress cover. Match your mattress against that label.
Why Was the Crayan Mattress Recalled?
The recall exists because the mattresses fail to meet open flame flammability requirements of the federal safety standard for mattresses. CPSC says this poses a deadly fire hazard. That is CPSC’s finding.
CPSC’s May 2025 warning explains the risk. Mattresses can provide a significant amount of fuel to an existing fire, causing the fire to grow quickly.

CPSC lists incidents and injuries for this recall as none reported. Reports are not proof that a product caused any injury, and a lack of reports does not make an unsafe mattress safe.

What Should Consumers Do?
If you own a Crayan mattress, take these steps:
- Stop using the mattress immediately and dispose of it.
- Do not sell the mattress or give it away.

- Use the CPSC recall complaint form if the firm does not respond to a remedy request.

CPSC’s May 22, 2025 warning is separate from recall 25-344, which later covered the full Crayan range. The earlier warning set out no remedy, while the recall notice lists disposal.
