CPSC announced Recall No. 26-156 for about 2,800 17 Stories Furniture 18-Drawer Dressers.[1] Shenzhen Jinhongzhen Technology Co., Ltd. imported them. The dressers can tip over when not anchored to a wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards to children. The dressers also violate the mandatory CSU standard set by the STURDY Act.[2] No incidents or injuries were reported. 17 Stories Furniture is offering a full refund.

Which 17 Stories Furniture Dressers Are Affected?

17 Stories Furniture 18-Drawer Dressers included in Recall No. 26-156 carry one of three label codes on the outer packaging:
  • 17 Stories Furniture 18-Drawer Dresser, sold in black, brown, or gray, with a metal frame, a wooden top, and 18 collapsible fabric drawers
