“Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal infection caused by the Cyclospora parasite,” FDA said. “Common symptoms include severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, body aches and fatigue.”
The recalled blueberries were distributed in Illinois, Maine, New York, and Wisconsin, the FDA said. Product lot codes are located on the top label of the clamshell and is a series of numbers printed by inkjet in black. Depending upon where the numbers are printed, they may go across the wording on the label.

If you purchased any Dole blueberries that are affected by this recall, you should not eat them, and either throw them away or return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
