What’s the Problem?
According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall affects the following vehicles:
- 2019-2020 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
- 2020 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe
- 2020 Porsche Turbo S Hybrid Coupe
The fuel line quick connector in the engine compartment on affected vehicles may leak, NHTSA said. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Porsche Cars North America is notifying owners and dealers will replace the fuel line and quick connector, free of charge. This recall began on July 10, 2020.
