What's the Problem?
This recall affects about 5,350 NESCO Model CR-04-13 Coffee Bean Roasters with a date code of 2520 or 3220 printed at the bottom right of the ETL Intertek label on the product and on the box, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1].
"The coffee bean roasters can overheat, posing a fire hazard," CPSC said.
The recalled coffee roasters were sold online and at Blains Supply and Burman Coffee Traders stores nationwide for about $85.
If you purchased a coffee bean roaster that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Metal Ware for a full refund or a refund in the form of a store credit.
This recall began on April 21, 2021.
