The brakes on recalled Yeti Snow Bikes can fail after the conversion kit has been installed, posing a crash hazard to the user, according to the CPSC Recall Notice[1].
Affected kits are designed to replace the front wheel of a motorbike with a ski and rear suspension and wheels with a track system, CPSC said. The Yeti SnowMX kits have a serial number starting with YE3XXXX or 964XXXX located under the unit. The Yeti logo is printed on the side of the product.
If you purchased a Yeti Snow Bike Conversion Kit that is affected by this recall, you should stop using the bike and contact your authorized Yeti SnowMX dealer for a free repair. This recall began on April 9, 2020.
