What’s the Problem?
This recall affects all Yeti 25A Fast Charge power supplies with model number 98080, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).
“Goal Zero has received three reports of the power supplies overheating,” CPSC said.
The model number on affected power supplies are located on the first line of the specifications on the product label. The Goal Zero logo and “Yeti 25A Fast Charge” are on top of the power supply box.
The recalled Yeti power supplies were sold at Bass Pro, Cabela’s and REI stores nationwide and online from April 2019 through August 2020 for about $150.
If you purchased a power supply that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Goal Zero for a free repair.
This recall began on December 9, 2020.
