According to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), this recall affects:
- 16 ounce X-14 Mildew Stain Remover – Lot Code 20052 O – 20063 O – UPC 041737260015
- 32 ounce X-14 Mildew Stain Remover – Lot Code 20062 O – 20127 O – UPC 041737260763
X-14 Mildew Stain Remover is a bathroom cleaning product used to remove mildew and stains from grout, tile, vinyl, and plastic surfaces. The words “X-14 Mildew Stain Remover” are printed on the front of the blue plastic spray bottle.
The recalled mildew stain remover was sold online and at retail stores nationwide from March 2020 through July 2020 for between $4 and $5.
If you purchased any X-14 Mildew Stain Remover that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact WD-40 Company for instructions on how to dispose of the product or return it for a refund.
This recall began on August 5, 2020.
