What’s the problem?
January 18, 2011 - According to the United States Drug Administration's food safety and inspection service, a January 10 beef recall originally initiated by One Great Burger of New Jersey has been expanded to include frozen hamburger patties sold at Winn-Dixie.
The recalled products have "sell by" dates of Jan. 1, 2011, through Feb. 27, 2011, printed on the bottom of each box, along with lot code 204110.
While the recalled beef patties have been unavailable for purchase since May 2010, individuals who may have purchased them are urged to remove them from their freezers and discard them. To date, there have been no illnesses or adverse events associated with these products.
