“You can identify these by reviewing batch number, UPC and by sell by date on the back label of the product,” FDA said. “These products had limited distribution in the United States and were sold in these states MA, ME, NH, OH, CO.”
This recall was initiated after Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese LTD. notified Abbey Specialty Foods they were recalling the above products over potential listeria contamination.
If you purchased any Wicklow cheese that is affected by this recall, you should not eat it and either discard it or return it to the point of purchase for a refund.
Anyone concerned about a potential listeria food poisoning illness should contact their physician or dial 9-1-1 immediately.
