What's the Problem?
December 10, 2019 - The White Castle recall affects specific lots of frozen six-pack cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and jalapeno cheeseburgers, as well as frozen 16-pack hamburgers and cheeseburgers, according to an FDA Recall Notice issued Friday [1].
The recalled burgers feature best-by dates ranging from August 4, 2020, to August 17, 2020, FDA said. The products are sold in rectangular cardboard packages with the date code located on the side panel. Click on the FDA recall notice for specific lot codes and best-by dates.
If you purchased any White Castle burgers that are affected by this recall, you should not eat them, and either discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a refund. To date, no listeria infections or other illnesses have been linked to the recalled items.
