What’s the Problem?
According to a Recall Notice from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1], this action affects Ellerbeck Wall Sconces with model numbers 43115BK, 43115NBR, 43115PN and 43115CLP.
“The wall sconce’s electrical wires can become damaged at the adjustable joints, posing a risk of electric shock,” CPSC said.
The recalled wall sconces were sold online and at lighting showrooms nationwide from June 2023 through December 2024 for between $165 and $240.
If you purchased a Wall Sconce that is affected by this recall, you should inspect it and confirm that the product is installed as a plug-in fixture without an electrical box.
Upon confirmation, you should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled sconce and contact Kichler to determine whether your sconce is included in the recall.
This recall began on February 27, 2025.
