What's the Problem?
This recall affects 2013-2017 Triumph Trophy SE A1 and 2013 Trophy SE A1 Launch motorcycles, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). See the other product liability lawsuits our lawyers have taken on.
The ignition switch wiring on affected motorcycles may be damaged due to the improper routing of the front brake hose, possibly resulting in inoperable headlights or taillights or an engine stall, NHTSA said. A sudden loss of vehicle lighting or an engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Triumph Motorcycles America is notifying owners and dealers will inspect and re-route the brake hose, free of charge. This recall began in April 2020.
