What's the Problem?
According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall affects the following Triumph motorcycles:
- 2016-2018 Triumph Thruxton
- 2016-2019 Triumph Thruxton R
- 2020 Triumph Thruxton TFC

The side stand spring on affected motorcycles may fracture, possibly allowing the side stand
switch to activate and shut off the engine, NHTSA said. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Triumph is notifying owners and dealers will replace the side spring stand, free of charge. This recall began on Feb. 24, 2020.
