Trader Joe’s Recall Due To Salmonella Concerns
November 9, 2010 – Trader Joe’s has announced a recall affecting stores in both Nevada and California. Several food items are being recalled over salmonella and other foodborne illness concerns.
Recalled products include:
- 12-ounce spicy Thai style pasta salad with the product code SKU- 74441 and the establishment number “P-21030” within the USDA mark of inspection. The government say it has sell-by dates of October 31 through November 6, and contains cilantro that may be contaminated with salmonella.
- Cilantro Dressing (SKU- 36420) with a sell-by date of February 9, 2011, Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette (SKU- 80947) with a sell-by date of January 9, 2011.
- For California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon and Washington stores: Cilantro Pecan Dip (SKU- 76986) with sell-by dates of November 20 and November 24.
