What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Toyota Land Cruisers from model years 2018-2019, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank of affected Land Cruisers may fail, NHTSA said. If the fuel pump fails, the
engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Toyota will notify owners when a remedy for this problem has been developed. This recall began on February 17, 2020.
