What’s the Problem?
According to a CPSC Recall Notice dated 6/11/20, this recall affects about 32,200 Miniware Teething Spoons, which were sold online and at retailers nationwide from December 2017 through March 2020 in the following colors: gray, aqua, peach, key lime (green), cotton candy (pink), and lavender.
CPSC is aware of at least 1 report of an infant who bit through the teething spoon, resulting in a piece separating inside the child’s mouth.
The spoons were sold in sets of 2, and also as part of “First Bites” Meal Kit Configurations, CPSC said. The word “Miniware” is stamped in raised letters on the handle of the spoons.
Consumers who purchased any of the recalled teething spoons should stop using them immediately and contact Bonnsu for a free replacement. CPSC’s recall number for this item is 20-135.
