What’s the Problem?
The recalled “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” come with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and parsley, and are packed in aluminum foil containers with clear lids marked lot# F080SS/F090SS on the bottom of the label, according to the FDA Recall Notice [1].
The problem was found when routine testing identified the presence of listeria in Garland Ventures Stuffed Shells. The company has ceased production of the product pending the results of an investigation into the source of contamination.
