Published by Starbucks issued the recall in partnership with Bodum, after receiving at least 8 reports of the coffee presses’ plunger knobs breaking, causing deep cuts to users and others handling the equipment, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on Wednesday.

What’s the problem?
The recycled coffee presses were sold at Starbucks cafes and on its website from November 2016 through January 2019 for about $20, CPSC said [1].
SKU number 011063549 is printed on a white label on the bottom of the base of affected products. The words “Bodum” and “Made in Portugal” are embossed on the bottom of the dark gray plastic base.
If you purchased one of the recalled presses, you should contact Starbucks for information about how to receive a replacement. Returns will not be accepted in stores, according to the CPSC.
