What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Royal Gourmet Patio 2-Burner deluxe gas grills, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1].
Royal Gourmet has received at least 6 reports of incidents involving grills catching on fire, CPSC said.
The recalled grills were sold exclusively online at Wayfair.com from August 2017 through November 2019 for about $240.
If you purchased a barbecue grill that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Royal Gourmet for a free accessory repair kit.
This recall began on September 9, 2020.
