Cancer Research Agency Says Roundup Ingredient is “Possibly Carcinogenic”

The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has called glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, “probably carcinogenic,” according to a report published in The Lancet Oncology in March 2015 [1]. What is Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma?

Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL) is the most common form of B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that occurs when malignant lymphocytes (cancer cells) are found in the tissues of the lymph nodes, bone marrow, spleen, and/or liver. When malignant lymphocytes are present in the peripheral blood, the condition is called chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
