What's the Problem?
Jan. 8, 2020 - Rainbow Farms is recalling the following products in conjunction with the listeria outbreak.
- Rainbow Farms Diced Egg - 5# Bag
- Rainbow Farms 12 Count Hard-Cooked Eggs
- Rainbow Farms Hard-Cooked Eggs - 5# Bag
The recalled eggs feature a “Best If Used By” code that starts with the prefix “G”, FDA said.
The outbreak strain of Listeria monocytogenes associated with this cluster of illnesses has been traced to Almark Foods, Inc., a Gainesville, Georgia firm that distributes hard-boiled egg products to grocers and retailers nationwide.
If you or a loved one experienced food poisoning symptoms after eating any of the eggs listed in the recall, you should contact your healthcare provider immediately.
