Nationwide Cheese Recall
August 27, 2010 – Last Friday, Queseria Chipilo of Passaic, NJ announced a recall of the following cheese products, all date codes up to and including Sept. 26, 2010 Fresco and Nov. 25,2010 Oaxaca. These cheese products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes:
- Oaxaca String Cheese
- Queso Fresco
- Queso Fresco Hoja De Plátano
The recalled cheese was distributed in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia through New Jersey to retail stores and wholesalers.
