What's the Problem?
This recall includes about 21,000 Prepac 4-drawer chests with plastic drawer glides, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. Model numbers affected are:

- BBD-3031-4 29-3/4”H x 30”W x 16”D Black
- OBD-3031-4 29-3/4”H x 30”W x 16”D Oak
- WHD-3031-4 29-3/4”H x 30”W x 16”D White
These chests were sold online from April 2005 through September 2018 for about $75.
If you purchased a Prepac Chest of Drawers that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately unless it is properly anchored to a wall and out of reach of children, CPSC said.
Consumers may contact Prepac to receive a free tip-over restraint kit or a one-time, free in-home installation of the wall anchor strap. This recall began on May 6, 2020.
