What's the Problem?
According to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1], this recall affects Northern Tool & Equipment Powerhorse 13000ES Portable Generator Model #799215.
"NTE has received one report of an incorrect wiring connection," CPSC said. "No injuries have been reported."
The recalled generators are blue with white "Powerhorse" logos, a black frame and 2 wheels. "Powerhorse 13000ES" is printed in white on the top front.
Affected generators were sold online and at Northern Tool & Equipment stores nationwide from July 2016 through September 2020 for about $1,850.
If you purchased a generator that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Northern Tool & Equipment for a free repair by an authorized dealer.
This recall began on February 24, 2021.
