What’s the Problem?
This recall involves all model year 2018 through 2020 Phoenix 200 ATVs,according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1].
Polaris is aware of at least 5 consumer reports; 4 of them regarding the throttle stop breaking, and one report of the throttle stop sticking.
Affected ATVs have the word “Polaris” printed on the front body and on the sides of the ATV seats, and “Phoenix 200” printed on the side panels, CPSC said. The ATVs were sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from November 2017 through April 2020 for between $3,800 and $4,200.
If you purchased a Polaris Phoenix 200 that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it and contact Polaris for a free inspection and, if needed, a free repair.
This recall began on July 2, 2020.
