What’s the Problem?
Nuts n’ More issued the recall after routine testing found listeria in samples taken from the company’s Plain Peanut Spread, according to a Recall Notice by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
The recalled Nuts n’ More Peanut Spread was distributed to locations in Virginia, Arizona, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Indiana, Florida, as well as in Canada and the UK.
If you purchased Nuts ‘n More that is affected by this recall, you should not eat it, and either discard it or return it to the point of purchase for a refund. Anyone concerned about a potential listeria food poisoning illness should contact their doctor immediately.
Nuts n’ More has suspended production of its peanut spread products until an investigation into the listeria contamination can be completed.
