What's the Problem?
According to the FDA Recall Notice [1], this action affects NOW Real Food Raw Macadamia Nuts – Product Code 7119, Lot#3141055.
The problem was discovered when FDA testing identified the presence of salmonella bacteria in the above lot of NOW Real Food Raw Macadamia Nuts. No other NOW Real Food products are affected by the recall, FDA said.
If you purchased any macadamia nuts that are involved in this recall, you should not eat them, and either throw them away or return them to the point of purchase for a refund. Anyone concerned about a potential food poisoning illness should consult their physician.
This recall began on June 12, 2020.
