What's the Problem?
This recall affects about 50,000 Moravian star lights, including those with incandescent and LED bulbs, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1].
The lights are a white multi-pointed star designed to hang from a ceiling, sold in 12” and 21” sizes. The exterior boxes were either red, green or blue.
The recalled star lights were sold online from Nov. 2016 to Dec. 2019 for about $20, CPSC said.
If you purchased any Moravian Star Lights that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and contact Hercules for a free repair kit.
This recall began on August 5, 2020.
