What's the Problem?
This recall affects Mercedes E450 Coupes from model year 2020, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The front left seat belt on affected Mercedes Coupes may be improperly installed, potentially allowing the belt to contact sharp metal components and damage the webbing, NHTSA said. A damaged seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury in the
event of a crash.

Mercedes is notifying owners and dealers will inspect and reroute the front left seat belt as
necessary, or replace it if the webbing is damaged, free of charge. This recall began on June 20, 2020.
