LGD MAX Lawsuit

LGD MAX, a workout supplement manufactured by Panther Labs, contains SARMS and/or other unregulated substances, which may increase your risk of liver failure, heart problems, blood clots and other serious side effects.

The FDA on October 23, 2017, sent a warning letter (WL #53541) to Panther Labs stating that the company’s distribution of LGD MAX and “Ostarine MK 2866” (another supplement manufactured by Panther) were in violation of the agency’s Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) because they contain SARMS, which have been linked to serious side effects including liver damage, heart attack, blood clots and death.

Free Confidential Lawsuit Evaluation: If you or a loved one has been injured by side effects of LGD MAX MK-2866 or another SARM, you should contact our law firm immediately. You may be entitled to compensation by filing a suit against the manufacturer and our lawyers can help.

What is LGD MAX?

LGD MAX is a selective androgen receptor modulor, or SARM, initially developed for the prevention of muscle wasting diseases. LGD MAX is primarily used as a performance enhancing drug for muscle building, as its main benefit is helping with lean muscle gains. The product’s intended uses, according to the labeling, include “Physique Enhancing Agent” and “Mass Builder.”

What are the Ingredients?

According to the FDA Warning Letter, LGD MAX contains the following ingredients:
4-((R)-2-((R)-2,2,2-trifluoro-1-hydroxyethyl) pyrrolidin-1-yl)-2-trifluoro Methyl) benzonitrile (LGD-4033).

What are SARMs?

SARMs are synthetic drugs that have effects similar to those of testosterone. The products are still relatively new and many are still in the research phase, but several SARMs have been approved for medical purposes. Despite FDA approval, SARMs are widely available online and marketed to bodybuilders as “legal steroids” or “steroid alternatives” or for “research only.”

SARMs Side Effects

  • Liver damage
  • Cardiovascular complications
  • Heart attack
  • Blood clots
  • Deep vein Thrombosis (DVT)
  • Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
  • Stroke
  • Death

Can I File a SARMs Lawsuit?

Only a qualified attorney can determine whether you are eligible to file a lawsuit against Panther Labs, maker of LGD MAX, which is why we are currently offering free case evaluations. Simply fill out the confidential evaluation form below to contact our law firm now.

Most cases involving pharmaceuticals allege that a drug was sold with design, manufacturing, and/or marketing defects, which typically refers to a company’s failure to warn of a certain side effect. In the case of LGD MAX, our attorneys suspect that patients may be able to take legal action in light of claims that Panther Labs failed to adequately warn doctors and patients about the risk of severe liver damage and cardiovascular complications.

SARM Brands

In addition to LGD MAX, other popular brands of SARMs include:

  • LGD-4033 (Ligandrol)
  • LGD-3303
