These dips, which are packaged in plastic containers, were sold at Kroger grocery stores nationwide between May 15, 2020 and August 6, 2020, FDA said.

On July 31, 2020, Kroger was notified by supplier Onions 52 that it had received red, yellow, and white onions from Thomson International, Inc., which had been identified as the source of a multi-state salmonella outbreak. It was subsequently determined that several Kroger cheese dips used red onions from the produce department as an ingredient.

If you purchased any of the cheese dips that are affected by this recall, you should throw them away or return them to Kroger for a refund.

Anyone concerned about a potential salmonella infection from recalled cheese dip should contact their healthcare provider immediately.

This recall began on August 12, 2020.
