What's the Problem?
According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall affects the following recreational trailers built on D80 Dexter Axles:
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3401RL
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3901MB
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3901WB
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3911RL
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3951MB
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3951WB
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3981FK
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 3991RD
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 4001LK
- 2021 Keystone Crossroads Redwood 4150RD

The axle U-bolts on the above RVs may have been improperly torqued during production, causing the bolts to loosen and the axle to slide. If the axle moves, poor vehicle handling may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Keystone is notifying owners and dealers will properly tighten the U-bolts, free of charge.
This recall began on February 8, 2021.
