Jan. 13, 2020 - This recall [1] affects the following Inspired Organics products:
- 6 Count Stand Up Pouch Organic Hard-Cooked Eggs
- 2 Count Organic Hard-Cooked Eggs
These products were only sold at the Bridge Street Market in Grand Rapids, Michigan, according to the FDA.
Consumers who purchased any of the recalled eggs should discontinue use and either discard them or return them to the point of purchase for a refund. To date, at least 7 cases of listeria infection, including 1 which resulted in death, have been linked to contaminated hard-boiled eggs distributed by Almark Foods, Inc.
