What's the Problem?
October 11, 2019 - IKEA is recalling MATVRÅ Infant Bibs over concerns the item may pose a choking hazard to young children, according to a recall announcement issued Tuesday by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). The problem is that a snap on the bib can detach, which could potentially choke a child. IKEA has received at least 2 reports of the snap detaching; however, no injuries have been reported, CPSC said.
MATVRÅ bibs are sold exclusively at IKEA stores across the U.S. and online. If you purchased a bib that is affected by this recall, you may return it to any IKEA store for a full refund.
