What's the Problem?
According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall affects:
- 2020-2021 Honda Insight
- 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid
- 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid

The DC-DC converter on the above vehicles may shut down and prevent the 12-volt battery from recharging, potentially causing a loss of drive power. "A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash," NHTSA said.
Honda is notifying owners and dealers will update the power converter unit (PCU) software, free of charge
This recall began on February 25, 2021.
