What’s the Problem?
According to a Recall Notice from the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) [1], this recall affects Homestar Finch three-drawer dressers in maple/bank adler (EB10873BA), black (EB108738Q), torino walnut (EB108738TW) and white (EB108738W).
Homestar North America and the model number are printed on a label on the back of the recalled dressers, CPSC said. Affected dressers were sold online from January 2016 to May 2019 for about $90, alone or as part of a matching bedroom collection.
If you purchased a Finch Dresser that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately unless it is anchored to a wall and out of the reach of children, CPSC said. Homestar will provide a tip-over restraint kit and installation, free of charge. This recall began on March 12, 2020.
