What's the Problem?
This recall affects 7.05 OZ (200 G) Enoki mushrooms imported from South Korea-based Green Co., which were distributed to New York, Maryland and Virginia through Great Wall Supermarkets between February 15, 2020, and March 5, 2020.
The recalled mushrooms were sold in clear plastic packaging with a green label, UPC#831211204181, 25 packs/ net weight 5 kg per carton. The company name, “H&C Food Inc.,” is printed on the back of the packaging.
This recall was initiated after the FDA found evidence of potential contamination of Enoki Mushrooms from Green Co. Ltd. H&C Food Inc. has ceased distribution of the mushrooms pending results of an investigation.
If you purchased any Enoki mushrooms that are affected by this recall, you should either discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a refund. This recall began on April 7, 2020.
