What's the Problem?
This recall affects Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycles from model year 2020, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The electric vehicle powertrain on affected Harleys may unexpectedly shut down and not restart due to a software issue in the Onboard Charging (OBC) system. "An unexpected loss of propulsion without the ability to restart may increase the risk of a crash," NHTSA said.
Harley-Davidson is notifying owners and dealers will update the OBC software, free of charge.
This recall began on October 19, 2020.
