What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Ford Edge vehicles from model years 2015-2018, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The front brake hoses on affected vehicles may rupture prematurely, NHTSA said. A ruptured front brake hose will cause a brake fluid leak, lengthening the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford is notifying owners and dealers will replace the front brake hoses with new hoses that have a revised braid material, free of charge.
This recall began on September 14, 2020.
