What's the Problem?
The recalled battery packs were sold individually, and also included inside Classroom Kits and GoPiGo and BrickPi robotic bundles, according to the CPSC Recall Notice [1].
Affected products include a 9.6V 2000Ah NiMH battery pack with Max Charge Current 2A wrapped in black plastic, CPSC said. “Dexter Industries Rechargeable Battery Pack” is printed on a white label on the battery pack.
If you purchased a Dexter battery pack that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Modular Robotics for a free replacement battery pack. This recall began on April 20, 2020.
