The recalled Cheesewich products have "use-by" dates that include:
- Dec. 27, 2019
- Jan. 3, 2020
- Jan. 23, 2020
- Jan. 30, 2020
- Feb. 6, 2020
- Feb. 14, 2020
- Feb. 28, 2020
Lot codes of affected products:
- 281191
- 302191
- 309191
- 316191
- 323191
- 331191
- 336191
- 344191
To date, at least 7 people in 5 states have been sickened with listeria infections, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) [1]. Of those sickened, at least 4 required emergency hospitalization, and 1 person in Texas died from complications of listeria, CDC said.
Anyone who had symptoms of food poisoning after eating any recalled products should contact their doctor as soon as possible.
