Affected models include Britax B-Safe 35, B-Safe 35 Elite and BOB B-Safe 35. Recalled car seats can be fixed using a free kit that can be provided by Britax.

What’s the Problem?

November 9, 2010 – This week, Britax announced that it will be recalling some 17,251 Chaperone infant car seats sold in the United States. According to the company, the harness chest clip may break as your child is being secured into place. Apparently, broken chest clips could injure you and your child with scratches or become a choking hazard for your little one.

Specifically, the recall affects Chaperone infant car seats manufactured between April 2009 and May 2010 with model numbers of E9L69N9, E9L69P2, E9L69P3, and E9L69P5.
