What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Burley Dash X FM frame mount child bicycle seats (model number 924004), according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).
Affected child seats have a serial number beginning in P924 and a lot number beginning in the letter D or E, CPSC said. The serial number and lot number are located on the lower rear of the child seats, on the white label that has “BURLEY” printed on it.
The recalled seats were sold at bicycle retailers nationwide and online from April 2020 through July 2020 for about $190.
If you purchased a bike seat that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Burley for a free replacement seat.
This recall began on December 9, 2020.
