Amy’s Kitchen Recalls Spinach Products Due to Listeria Contamination
Amy’s Kitchen was informed of the presence of listeria in is products by one of its organic spinach suppliers, according to an FDA press release. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the products; however, the company is recalling them as a precautionary measure. Products affected by the recall were distributed to stores nationwide and in Canada. If you purchased any food items on the list, you should discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.

Superior Foods Recalls Spinach Sold at Target Stores
March 24, 2015 – Another recall has been issued for spinach products over potential listeria contamination. This time, Watsonville, CA-based Superior Foods Inc. is recalling 8,475 cases of Simply Balanced Frozen Organic Spinach sold at Target stores nationwide.
