What's the Problem?
This recall affects Alliance Galaxy DH241-G 16H commercial truck tires in size 11R24.5 with DOT date codes 2519 through 4619, according to a Recall Notice by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recalled Alliance Galaxy Tires may have been improperly vulcanized, allowing the tread to separate, which can significantly impact vehicle handling and increase the risk of a crash, NHTSA said.
If you purchased Alliance Tires that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and take them to your Alliance dealer to have them replaced, free of charge. This recall began on Feb. 7, 2020.
